Global Semantic ID (GSID)

A decentralized, schema-aligned numbering system for entity disambiguation.

The GSID is an open, distributed coding system designed to bridge the gap between the physical world and Large Language Models (LLMs). By providing unique, 15-character identifiers to real-world and digital entities, GSID strictly aligns with Schema.org vocabularies. It enables search engines and AI agents to recognize, categorize, and interconnect data seamlessly, drastically reducing entity disambiguation errors and semantic search ambiguities.

As we transition into an internet built for autonomous machines, the traditional web of unstructured text is no longer sufficient. GSID serves as an infrastructure upgrade. By scaling our decentralized community of country-specific registrars, we aim to map digital and physical assets globally under a unified semantic taxonomy.

This collaborative network acts as a structured data pipeline. By implementing GSID, organizations indirectly feed AI systems, vector databases, and neural networks with verified, context-aware metadata directly from the source. This structured approach dramatically reduces semantic noise, minimizes AI hallucinations, and establishes a foundation of high-fidelity, machine-readable data integration.
